TRCS Hiroba is built so that your sensitive information stays with you. This statement explains exactly what data lives where.
1. Data stored on your systems (not TRCS Consulting Group's)
- Uploaded floor plans and DXF files
- Your equipment library (names, asset IDs, cost centers, functional locations, dimensions, geometry)
- All layouts, options, and version history
- User accounts and passwords (passwords are stored as secure one-way hashes)
This data resides in a local folder on the host machine. Your IT department controls access and backups. Securing this data is managed by you, not TRCS Consulting Group.
2. Data exchanged with TRCS Consulting Group (licensing only)
To verify your license, the Software may send TRCS Consulting Group's license server the minimum necessary information:
- your product key;
- a hardware fingerprint (a one-way hash derived from the host's name and network identifiers, used to bind the key to one machine and prevent key sharing);
- the host name and a timestamp of the check-in.
No Customer Data is ever sent. If your network blocks outbound access, licensing can be completed entirely offline via an activation file, with no data transmitted at all.
3. What TRCS Consulting Group does with licensing data
TRCS Consulting Group uses licensing data solely to administer subscriptions (activation, renewal, suspension) and to provide support. TRCS Consulting Group does not sell licensing data or use it for advertising.
4. Your responsibilities
Because your data is local, you are responsible for backing up the Software's data folder, controlling network and physical access to the host, and managing user accounts and password policy.
